For the second year in succession Craig & Derricott’s chosen charity is Oakwood School in Walsall Wood. The school is a community teaching centre that takes children from 2 to 14 that have severe, profound or multiple learning difficulties.

Last year the company raised £5,000 to pay for a large flat touch-screen monitor. This years money will go towards multi-gym equipment, “We are focusing on the children’s fitness at the moment”, says headteacher Kay Mills, “and items such as little exercise bikes, a trampoline and rowing equipment would be fantastic.”

Last years money was raised by various means such as competitions, raffles, bring & buy sales etc. A major contribution came from the company’s drink vending machines, where a proportion of the cost of each drink was allocated to the charity.
